Advancedsettings

Onsomeservermodels,theAdvancedmenuincludesasettingtoenableordisableHyperThreading.This

featureworksonlywithHyperThreading-awareoperatingsystems.ThedefaultsettingforHyperThreading

isenabled.However,ifyouarenotusingaHyperThreading-awareoperatingsystemandthesettingfor

HyperThreadingisEnabled,yourserverperformancemightbedegraded.Therefore,youshouldalwaysset

HyperThreadingtoDisabledunlessyouaresureyouroperatingsystemsupportsHyperThreading.

ExitingfromtheSetupUtilityprogram

Afteryounishviewingorchangingsettings,pressEsctoreturntotheSetupUtilityprogrammainmenu.

YoumighthavetopressEscseveraltimes.Then,dooneofthefollowing:

•Ifyouwanttosavethenewsettings,pressF10tosaveandexittheSetupUtilityprogram.

•Ifyoudonotwanttosavethesettings,selectExit®DiscardChangesandExit.

•Ifyouwanttoreturntothedefaultsettings,pressF9orselectExit®LoadOptimalDefaults.
