1.Turnoffthecomputer;thendisconnecttheacpoweradapterandallcablesfromthecomputer.Waitfor

afewminutes,tilltheinsideofthecomputercools,beforeyoustartthefollowingprocedures.

2.Closethecomputerdisplay,andturnthecomputerover.

3.Removethebattery.See“Replacingthebattery”onpage31.

4.Removethescrews1,andthenremovethecover2.

5.Ifatoolforremovingconnectorsisincludedinthepackagewiththenewcard,useittodisconnectthe

cables3fromthecard.Ifnosuchtoolisincluded,disconnectthecablesbypickinguptheconnectors

withyourngersandgentlyunpluggingthem.Thenremovethescrew4andthecardpopsup.

6.Removethecard.

7.AlignthecontactedgeofthenewPCIExpressMiniCardwiththecorrespondingsocket.

8.Pivotthecarduntilyoucansnapitintoplace.Thensecurethecardwiththescrew.
