1.Turnoffthecomputer;thendisconnecttheacpoweradapterandallcablesfromthecomputer.Wait

threetoveminutestoletthecomputercool.

2.Closethecomputerdisplay,andturnthecomputerover.

3.Removethebattery.See“Replacingthebattery”onpage31.

4.Removethescrews1,andthenremovethecover2.

5.Iftwomemorymodulesarealreadyinthememoryslots,pressoutonthelatchesonbothedgesof

thesocketatthesametime1,andthenremoveamemorymoduletomakeroomforthenewone.

Savetheremovedmemorymoduleforfutureuse.

6.Findthenotchonthecontactedgesideofthememorymoduleyouareinstalling.

Attention:Toavoiddamagingthememorymodule,donottouchitscontactedge.

7.Withthenotchedendofthememorymoduletowardthecontactedgesideofthesocket,insertthe

memorymodule
