powercordsfromelectricaloutletsanddisconnectallcablesthatareconnectedtotheserver.

2.Iftheserverisinstalledinarackcabinet,removetheserverfromtherackcabinetandplaceitonaat,

4.Removethecoolingshroud.See“Removingandreinstallingthecoolingshroud”onpage91.

5.Removetheheatsink.See“Installingorreplacingaheatsink”onpage133.

6.Gentlypressdownthesmallhandleonthemicroprocessorsocketandthenpullthehandlealittlebit

outwardtoreleaseitfromthesecuredposition.Then,pivotthehandleupwardtothefullyopenposition.
