Note:Carefullyremovethefourscrewsfromthesystemboardtoavoidanypossibledamagetothe

6.Lifttheheatsinkandfanassemblyoffthesystemboard.

Notes:

•Youmighthavetogentlytwisttheheatsinkandfanassemblytofreeitfromthemicroprocessor.

•Whenhandlingtheheatsinkandfanassembly,donottouchthethermalgreaseonthebottom

oftheheatsinkandfanassembly.

7.Placethenewheatsinkandfanassemblyonthesystemboardsothatthefourscrewsarealigned

withthecorrespondingholesinthesystemboard.Makesurethatyouproperlyplacethenewheat

sinkandfanassemblysothatyoucaneasilyconnectthenewheatsinkandfanassemblycabletothe

microprocessorfanconnectoronthesystemboard.

8.Followthefollowingsequencetoinstallthefourscrewstosecurethenewheatsinkandfanassembly.

Donotover-tightenthescrews.
