populatedwithtwohot-swapredundantpowersupplies,itcanwithstandapowerlossfromeitherpower
supply.Thishelpsyouavoidsignificantinterruptiontotheoperationofthesystemwhenapowersupply
fails.Youcanreplaceahot-swapredundantpowersupplywithoutturningofftheserver.
Note:TomaintaintheEMIintegrityandcoolingoftheserver,installanewhot-swapredundantpower
supplyassoonasyouremovethefailingoneorcovertheotherbaywithashieldifyouuseonemodule
toprovidepower.
Someservermodelscomewithonlyonepowersupply.Youcanpurchaseahot-swapredundantpower
supplyoptionfromLenovo.
